US Based law office seeks full-time virtual bilingual legal assistant (English & Spanish) to work remotely outside of the USA.
**New Hire Bonus**
New Hire Bonus will be paid on first day. Amount depends on skills of applicant as demonstrated in the online assessment (details below). Work to begin as soon as possible.
Schedule:
Assistant must be able to work on Mondays-Fridays for approximately 6-8 hours each day during the hours of 8am to 7pm California US local time.
Compensation:
Hourly rate depending on experience, skills and results of online assessment. Bonuses based on merit also available. Please submit salary requirements.

Requirements
* College education. Law degree preferred.
* Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
* Must be able to provide references.
* Must complete the online job assessment
Technology:
* Must have reliable internet
*Must have reliable computer
* Well-versed in E-mail, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and Gmail applications. Experience with Clio software is a plus.
*Once hired must be ok with software installed on the computer to protect our confidential information.
Skills Needed:
* Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking and writing skills required. Please do not apply if you do not speak or write Spanish/English.
* Must be able to respond to supervisor e-mails quickly in less than 15 minutes.
* Must take and return calls from potential clients, clients and other parties in a respectful and professional manner.
* Ideal candidate would have a desire to work at a law firm for at least one year and can work with little to no supervision.
* Ability to follow directions.
* Good Attitude. Must be friendly, outgoing, good-sense of humor, and professional.
* Ability to multi-task
* Strong writing abilities--ability to communicate with clients and third parties with proper spelling and grammar and without typos
* Strong communication skills--the position requires comfort speaking professionally and pleasantly with potential clients and opposing counsel.
* Ability to handle stress and fast-paced environment.
* Strong clerical abilities, such as data entry, file management. Since we handle sexual harassment cases, it might be necessary for example to copy documents containing explicit material. You must be comfortable with this kind of work.
* Be dependable, which means be on time, and finish tasks on time.
* Be a team player and look for ways to assist attorneys without having to be asked.
***Legal experience is a plus**
