Brief Summary:

Require a SIP Softphone application for telephone agents to download and install on Windows allowing them to use a computer headset to receive and make phone calls. The application will also require the ability to view their desktop, whether this be via taking a screen shot on request and submitting it to a URL, or via using a process similar to VNC. Taking control of the PC is NOT required. Users should login using their website API credentials, the application should contact a specific URL with these credentials using HTTPS and we will return the SIP credentials to enable their connection to our Asterisk server.

Requirements:	The seller will analyze the problem and propose a software-based solution to the problem.
Programming:	The programmer will take the requirements and translate them into the language of the computer (and test it).
User installation:	The installer will move the software from the place it was created (which is called the development or QC environment) to where you will use it (which is called the production environment). The installer then tests the software to make sure that the installation was done properly and completely.

Informal documentation - As the buyer talks back and forth about the project with the seller, those conversations become the requirements.Remember to communicate ALL of the details of your project on the Rent A Coder site. I don't know what language (and need the programmer's assistance to suggest it).
Other info:You are free to choose whichever language you prefer to enable this application, so long as the final application is in EXE method. It would be extremely handy if there was the ability to pre-define agents details in an XML document which we can include in the ZIP with the installer.

Yes AND the program will be installed on multiple computers and needs to work on all of them.

Legal:

1) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future).
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
2a) If there are any server-side deliverables (intended to only exist in one place in the Buyer's environment) then they must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition (unless specified elsewhere by the Buyer).
2b) All other software (including but not limited to any desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute) must include a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request (unless specified elsewhere by the Buyer).
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.
4) The coder is not permitted to display Phone Support Ltd work under any�online portfolio except for on Rentacoder.com website.

Other Requirements:

There must be a nice easy GUI interface, with a toaster that appears at the bottom with an "Accept" button when a call comes in. It must ring with an audio file and bring the application to the front of the computer.

The application must be able to run from the taskbar when minimized.

The VoIP application will require a couple of other buttons which will simply invoke a URL call, needing an alert of the content received when the button is pressed.

There must be an audio setup wizard to ensure headset clarity.

I have no problems with already made SDK's being used in this project.

All deliverables must be uploaded to Rent A Coder before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then do not start this project...but instead alert Rent A Coder of an un-arbitratable, illegal project.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. Rent A Coder monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
