Description
Sourcing Type: Outsourcing
This is an outsourcing project.
To apply,
place your bid below and we'll notify you if the employer
picks you
to work on it.
Since this is a pay-for-deliverables project, you will
bid a fixed price to complete the entire job.
If you win and complete the work according to contract,
you will be paid completely at the end (or partially as each of your optional
milestones arrive).
vWorker.com
guarantees payment to all workers who
meet their contracts.
Brief summary:
This project was worked on by three different companies. The first and last didn't finish the job, the second decided that they wanted to control when the project was delivered and extort money from me in the process. They, in turn. infected the web page with malicious code and the site was banned by Google before it was even finished. The second was a firm in India and was supposed to be reputable and very good.. I got nothing but hassles and excuses. The first coder was Canadian and he did most of the initial work which is now gone. If you would like the latest database and Joomla template (working and good), I have it. The firm in India said the original coding was bad. The same people that infected the website with malicious code. This project STAYS here!! I am protected at Vworker. No more rip offs!! No more extortion.. No more viruses. I need this completed.. Actually it should have been finished two years ago.
The last coder I gave a great rating because he did such a great job but left things unfinished. I accepted his work at then Rent a Coder as complete with the promise that it would be completed with due diligence. It is now 7 months later and it is still not complete. I cannot wait anymore. There is 7 Days to finish, the site is 99% complete. http://smoothjazztampabay.com to view what is done.

Requirements Interview Answers:
To help you bid more accurately, the employer was interviewed about the requirements for this project. Below are their answers.

Detailed Requirements:
The website is installed and functional, just needs to be finished

-
Worker: On pay-for-deliverable
projects, all deliverables must be
uploaded to
vWorker.com before the
deadline(s)…with no exceptions. If
this contract makes it impossible
to do this (for example if it is
for a service that cannot be
uploaded), then do not start
this project. Otherwise, you
may find
yourself unprotected by the
payment guarantee.
Instead, ask the employer
to switch this project to
pay-for-time, so you are
guaranteed payment. If the
employer will not switch this, then
please alert us.
Example of unprotected/un-guaranteed work:
Imagine that this project is to
install something on the employers
website.
You do the work but upload nothing
to vWorker.com (because it takes too
long,
or you cannot). As long as there is
no dispute, you will not notice the
potential problem. But if the
employer disputes what you did then
we must make sure you delivered to the
triple-point-guarantee (100% to-contract: and
done in the industry exepcted manner, and
by the deadline). If the employer
does not allow us access to their
website, or accidentally/deliberately
changes the work you did on their
website, when we go to test it, we
will see that it does not work.
Then you would have no proof that
you delivered the final deliverables,
lose the arbitration, the escrowed
funds and receive a poor rating
(which will say "testing showed
the final deliverables did not
work").
So for this reason,
you should have instead followed
the above instructions and
switched it to pay-for-time.
Had you done this, we would simply
have checked the Accutimcard to
make sure you punched-in the time
and were working on it. You would
have been paid for every hour
you worked.
- Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all outsourcing pay-for-deliverables projects < $500 (before the employer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the employer and worker agreements.
vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
