This is an outsourcing project. To apply, place your bid below and we'll notify you if the employer picks you to work on it. Since this is a pay-for-deliverables project, you will bid a fixed price to complete the entire job. If you win and complete the work according to contract, you will be paid completely at the end (or partially as each of your optional milestones arrive). vWorker.com guarantees payment to all workers who meet their contracts.

Brief summary:
    vWorker.com Writing Addendums:
    • All English writing-related deliverables MUST be of grammatical, structural and logical quality commensurate with written English in a professional journal (unless otherwise stated by the Employer). If you are a non-native English speaker you are HIGHLY CAUTIONED against bidding if you are less than 100% certain that you can provide this level of deliverables.

      • However, if the Employer accepts your bid based on a sample of your work that falls beneath (or above) this level, then they are indicating that quality of your sample is the acceptable level of quality in this contract.

    • In general, all deliverables MUST be completely your own original work and may not be taken (in whole or in part) from any work that you do not have full copyrights to (unless otherwise stated by the Employer).

      • If the employer agrees to allow you to quote material from other sources, you must surround that material with quotes and cite the source with enough detail so it can be verified.
      • The employer may agree to allow you to paraphrase material from other sources. This is legal when the work is considered "Fair Use" (which generally means it will NOT be used commercially and ONLY for educational purposes). When this is the case, you must follow generally accepted standards for paraphrasing.  Merely rearranging words and phrases from another source is considered plagiarism and is illegal.  To correctly paraphrase, you should read the original and then close the book/source so you cannot see it and then write the entire material from scratch using your own words. On the other hand, if you may know or suspect the work may not be "Fair Use", please inform or consult with vWorker.com.

    • If you infringe any copyright you will forfeit all escrowed funds under the terms of ""fraud"" in your contract and may have your account suspended. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT, unless you fully understand United States copyright law and its ramifications to you.

This job replaces ID 1458233. The job has been upgraded, and I am now looking for a full brand identity, ie logo and website. I am looking to establish a long-term relationship, as this website is only part of a larger overall project.

I am creating a network for entrepreneurs in Dubai - one which will link together entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, government entities, incubators etc. The main goal of the network is to encourage an entrepreneurial environment in Dubai, by providing the ecosystem and linking relevant people and organizations together.

Please browse through www.edxb.org for an idea of the intentions behind the website and network. The website itself is only the basis; events, networks and much more is expected as off-shots. The content presently updated (text, links etc) is about 10% of what will eventually be updated.

I need something clean and crisp. Something that says 'network', but also portrays the fun and passion of building your own business. It needs to look serious enough to also attract venture capitalists and government entities. I have a number of ideas on the brand identity, but am looking for someone creative to inspire me.

Please include in your offer;

- an understanding of the intentions behind the website and an idea of the branding identity options
- your skill set. We need a company that can offer both branding, web programming and overall identity creation. For now, logo and website needed, but full corporate identity later intended (if satisfied) and further work, as separate events and other off-shots happen
- your programming skills. Personally would prefer website in Wordpress, as this is where I am comfortable - but I am willing to hear other options, if you deem it necessary
- please give a concise overview of what is included in your offer, including number of suggestions, revisions (both logo and website), follow-up services, creative services
- please do NOT use personal messages through this website

Detailed Requirements:

1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.
4) one fully working and accepted website (design fitting with logo, sub-pages as per requirements) as well as one accepted logo design 5) I envisage numerous widgets (Google maps, twitter, facebook, LinkedIn group), on the website, beyond the basic pages. I am looking for a separate page layout for each of the main sub-sections that you can see on edxb.org.
  • Worker: On pay-for-deliverable projects, all deliverables must be uploaded to vWorker.com before the deadline(s)…with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible to do this (for example if it is for a service that cannot be uploaded), then do not start this project. Otherwise, you may find yourself unprotected by the payment guarantee. Instead, ask the employer to switch this project to pay-for-time, so you are guaranteed payment. If the employer will not switch this, then please alert us. (Click here for more details...)
  • Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all outsourcing pay-for-deliverables projects < $500 (before the employer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the employer and worker agreements. vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
