 Sourcing Type: Outsourcing
This is an outsourcing project. To apply, place your bid below and we'll notify you if the employer picks you to work on it. Since this is a pay-for-deliverables project, you will bid a fixed price to complete the entire job. If you win and complete the work according to contract, you will be paid completely at the end (or partially as each of your optional milestones arrive). vWorker.com guarantees payment to all workers who meet their contracts.

Brief summary:
  • vWorker.com reminder: You MAY NOT post the final solution for this (and any) project before your bid is accepted and funds are fully escrowed. Anyone who does may have their account permanently suspended. However, you CAN post:
    • On programming projects: A prototype or functional demo...as long as source code is not provided.
    • On graphics projects: A watermarked and low-resolution version of the work.
For the right coder this could be a full-time position.

Basically I will provide pfd ebook and coder will convert content from pdf into several articles.

Minor editing involved.

This project is for 100 articles at 0.25 cents each.  You can do as many as you want. I have thousands I need done. Work is limitless.

All I require is that you complete at least 30/day. To give you an idea, I can do 30/hour myself.

Requirements Interview Answers:
To help you bid more accurately, the employer was interviewed about the requirements for this project. Below are their answers. Untitled Page
Project Type: What kind of work do you need done?
Writing (Includes website content writing, proposals and technical writing.)
Legal: 1) Quality of writing: All English writing-related deliverables MUST be of grammatical, structural and logical quality commensurate with written English in a professional journal (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer). If you are a non-native English speaker you are HIGHLY CAUTIONED AGAINST bidding, unless you are 100% certain that you can provide this level of writing.
2) Writing Copyright: All deliverables MUST be completely your own original work and may not be taken (in whole or in part) from any work that you do not have full and complete copyrights to (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer).
2a) You may not quote material from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must surround that material with quotes and cite the source with enough detail so it can be verified.
2b) You may not paraphrase from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must follow generally accepted standards for paraphrasing. Merely rearranging words and phrases from another source is considered plagiarism and is illegal. To correctly paraphrase, you should read the original and then close the book/source so you cannot see it and then write the entire material from scratch using your own words. (Note: Paraphrasing is legal by U.S. law when the work is considered "Fair Use"...which generally means it will NOT be used commercially and ONLY for educational purposes. On the other hand, if you may know or suspect the work may not be "Fair Use", please inform or consult with Rent a Coder.)
2c) If you infringe any copyright you will forfeit all escrowed funds under the terms of "fraud" in your contract and may have your account suspended. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT, unless you fully understand United States copyright law and it's ramifications to you.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.
Detailed Requirements:

Description of full time position:

Basically I have several pdf files. I need someone to break them up & copy paste the content from these files and make 4-500 word articles from them.

This project requires almost ZERO writing of your own with very little editing.

The pay is 0.25 cents per article and I have an unlimited amount of work available. I would ask that you complete at least 30/day but you may do as many as you like.

It will require a little bit of editing but not very much. The English is already very good.

The challenge is making each article appear as an article. This can be a challenge when there is a 1,000 word article you come across int he pdf and you have two break them up into two articles.

Its not that hard. You simply think of a catchy title for each and maybe tweak the first paragraph a bit in order for each to come across as an individual article separate form the original work.

Also, in each pdf you will also find references to images that are inside the pdf..

However, in the article you are putting together, there will be no images. So, I would request that when you come in contact with references to images, simply remove those one line sentences from the articles.

This will require a little creativity but It really isnt that difficult. I myself have done 35 of of these article within 45 minutes time.

Also, in a rare situation you may find that the scanned page (in the pdf) didnt pick up all the words in the article.

I would expect you to try your best to salvage the content by adding your own. But I would not expect you to write more than a few lines of original content as this would not fit your job description.

If you feel it requires more than a few minutes of your time to salvage content that wasnt properly scanned, I would ask you simply to skip this content and move down the list to content that can be salvaged and made into articles.

Of course I would ask you to salvage all content possible and turn into article but skip only when you believe its salvageable without a lot of writing on your part (which this job doesn't require).

Each article shouldn't take more than two minutes to copy-paste and edit.

Also For each article you make, the article should have its own headline that will cosist of about 5-8 words.

For the headline idea simply read the first few paragraphs of content found in pdf and come up with a headline that will fit the article.

If you are a serious coder and interested in this job, please let me know and I will upload examples for you so you can see exactly how its done.

Thank you and happy bidding!

Phillip
  • Worker: On pay-for-deliverable projects, all deliverables must be uploaded to vWorker.com before the deadline(s)…with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible to do this (for example if it is for a service that cannot be uploaded), then do not start this project. Otherwise, you may find yourself unprotected by the payment guarantee. Instead, ask the employer to switch this project to pay-for-time, so you are guaranteed payment. If the employer will not switch this, then please alert us. (Click here for more details...)
  • Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all outsourcing pay-for-deliverables projects < $500 (before the employer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the employer and worker agreements. vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
