Brief Summary:

I have the URL http://www.freidapinto.co.uk in which I have set up a Wordpress template. I'm looking for someone with a reasonably good grasp of English to populate this site with lots of information on the actress Freida Pinto, and keep it updated on a weekly basis.

Population should include updating the image gallery, adding news stories (and referencing them correctly) and writing nice things about Freida pinto. Remember this is a fan site, so I don't want anything nasty on slanderous on the site.

The bidder will have full access to the Wordpress admin panel, and should have a good understanding of Word Press and its application.

The aim of the site is to eventually outrank the main competitor http://www.freidapintofan.com on Google for search term "Freida Pinto", therefore a good understanding of SEO is ESSENTIAL. I will expect all images to be alt tagged, and all articles to be tagged and catagorised correctly, with relevent meta data applied.

I will expect to see fresh content added to the site on a weekly basis (at the very least) and will release an agreed percentage of the total payment on a monthly basis.

Please bid with a 6 month population schedule in mind. I.e. Bid should be for a six month period of time.

Writing (Includes website content writing, proposals and technical writing.)

Legal:

1) Quality of writing: All English writing-related deliverables MUST be of grammatical, structural and logical quality commensurate with written English in a professional journal (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer). If you are a non-native English speaker you are HIGHLY CAUTIONED AGAINST bidding, unless you are 100% certain that you can provide this level of writing.
2) Writing Copyright: All deliverables MUST be completely your own original work and may not be taken (in whole or in part) from any work that you do not have full and complete copyrights to (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer).
2a) You may not quote material from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must surround that material with quotes and cite the source with enough detail so it can be verified.
2b) You may not paraphrase from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must follow generally accepted standards for paraphrasing. Merely rearranging words and phrases from another source is considered plagiarism and is illegal. To correctly paraphrase, you should read the original and then close the book/source so you cannot see it and then write the entire material from scratch using your own words. (Note: Paraphrasing is legal by U.S. law when the work is considered "Fair Use"...which generally means it will NOT be used commercially and ONLY for educational purposes. On the other hand, if you may know or suspect the work may not be "Fair Use", please inform or consult with Rent a Coder.)
2c) If you infringe any copyright you will forfeit all escrowed funds under the terms of "fraud" in your contract and may have your account suspended. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT, unless you fully understand United States copyright law and it's ramifications to you.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.

Other Requirements:

I have no issues with the bidder using Google alerts to notify him/her of fresh Freida Pinto related content. However, originally written content is preferable over copy and paste jobs, and any content that is lifted from another site MUST be properly references

All deliverables must be uploaded to Rent A Coder before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then do not start this project...but instead alert Rent A Coder of an un-arbitratable, illegal project.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. Rent A Coder monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
