Brief Summary:

Rent A Coder reminder: You MAY NOT post the final solution for this (and any) project before your bid is accepted and funds are fully escrowed. Anyone who does may have their account permanently suspended. However, you CAN post:

On programming projects: A prototype or functional demo...as long as source code is not provided.
On graphics projects: A watermarked and low-resolution version of the work.

Legal:

1) Quality of writing: All English writing-related deliverables MUST be of grammatical, structural and logical quality commensurate with written English in a professional journal (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer). If you are a non-native English speaker you are HIGHLY CAUTIONED AGAINST bidding, unless you are 100% certain that you can provide this level of writing.
2) Writing Copyright: All deliverables MUST be completely your own original work and may not be taken (in whole or in part) from any work that you do not have full and complete copyrights to (unless otherwise stated by the Buyer).
2a) You may not quote material from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must surround that material with quotes and cite the source with enough detail so it can be verified.
2b) You may not paraphrase from other sources unless the buyer explicitly gives you permission to do so. If they do, you must follow generally accepted standards for paraphrasing. Merely rearranging words and phrases from another source is considered plagiarism and is illegal. To correctly paraphrase, you should read the original and then close the book/source so you cannot see it and then write the entire material from scratch using your own words. (Note: Paraphrasing is legal by U.S. law when the work is considered "Fair Use"...which generally means it will NOT be used commercially and ONLY for educational purposes. On the other hand, if you may know or suspect the work may not be "Fair Use", please inform or consult with Rent a Coder.)
2c) If you infringe any copyright you will forfeit all escrowed funds under the terms of "fraud" in your contract and may have your account suspended. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT, unless you fully understand United States copyright law and it's ramifications to you.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.

You are bidding to write two articles.

This is a work sample, I will pick several writers.

After this assignment I will choose a writer to write on a regular basis to expend my blog with content. I will probably need one to two articles per week. Keep in mind I will also have guests, interviews and videos on the site, I don't want to overwhelm my subscribers.

Do not submit a bid if you can't take on more work after.

All work will be verified for originality and for duplicate content using CopyScape.

The theme for my blog is controlling/managing stress.

I don't think there will be any keywords or max/min article length, It's really more about providing good, fun, useful content. If it's a short article make sure it's pack we good stuff and if it's a long article make sure it's not boring pointless rambling.

Imagine that you're writing for a monthly magazine. What kind of article would you put on the cover to make people want to pick it up and read it.

Here are some examples of articles you could write. Don't quote me on those I didn't put any research behind them. It's just to give you an idea of the kind of articles I'm looking for.

-Is your life to cluttered... here are 5 simple tips to help you organize everything
-30 hours per day, is this possible... YES!
-The top 10 food to relax your mind and body (no prescription needed)
-Is your relationship the cause of your stress... 5 signs to look for
-The top 10 stress related illnesses
-15 reasons you need to pay attention to your stress level every day
-5 tips to help you get some "me" time everyday
-Are your finances driving you crazy... 5 ways to get the upper hand on your budget
-10 ways to get the vacation you deserve on a budget
-Are your children driving you crazy... here's 10 tips to turn them into little angels

Basically anything and everything that can help people live a better more calm in control stress free life.

Just write it in a magazine, hype, top headline, let's make them want to read it type of article.

I have 2 basic rules:
1- Make it an easy read. No need to showoff how smart you are by using big words.
2- It must be useful, FACTUAL information... Don't make stuff up!

Also how much would you charge me to spin your articles using a service that includes submitting it for you? Basically you would write the sentences in different ways and let the software mix it up.

PS. I will do my best to give you ideas to write about but the writers who can do their own research and come up with their own topics will be preferred.

All deliverables must be uploaded to Rent A Coder before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then do not start this project...but instead alert Rent A Coder of an un-arbitratable, illegal project.
